Pef s.r.l operante nel settore da oltre trent’anni, affiancandosi al gruppo Peviani, è diventata tra le aziende leader in Europa nella produzione e commercializzazione di carote e radicchi.
L’azienda produce in tre diverse aree strategiche in Italia: al nord a Chioggia (VE), al centro a Fiumicino (Roma) e al sud in Sicilia ad Ispica (RG). Con i suoi due centri di lavorazione, entrambi certificati IFS, situati a Chioggia e ad Ispica, riesce a garantire al consumatore un prodotto fresco durante tutto l’anno.
Nell’ultimo decennio Pef, grazie ad importanti investimenti in produzione, è riuscita ad ampliare la propria gamma con nuovi prodotti quali pomodori, zucchine, cipolle, peperoni e zucche. Dal 2004 tutta la produzione è certificata Globalgap. Allo scopo di garantire una qualità sempre più elevata e una maggiore valorizzazione dei territori in cui opera, è entrata a far parte dei Consorzi di tutela del Pomodoro IGP di Pachino, del Radicchio di Chioggia IGP e della Carota novella di Ispica IGP.
Siamo inoltre specializzati nella lavorazione di carote per uso industria e siamo fornitori storici delle principali industrie italiane.
La Mission della Pef è ottenere la completa soddisfazione del cliente ponendo la massima attenzione alla sicurezza alimentare, tutela dell’ambiente e sicurezza sul lavoro. Attraverso il proprio staff di tecnici presidia direttamente le attività di produzione, condizionamento, logistiche e commerciali, garantendo un elevato livello di qualità di prodotto e di servizio.
PEF srl nel rispetto dell’ambiente ha realizzato nello stabilimento di Ispica un impianto fotovoltaico dalla capacità di 200 kw, capace di fornire l’80% del fabbisogno di energia e risparmiando l’immissione in atmosfera di circa 160 tonnellate di CO2 all’anno.

The company produces in three different strategic areas in Italy: in the north in Chioggia (VE), in the centre in Fiumicino (Rome) and in the south in Ispica (RG). With its two centres of processing, both certificated IFS and situated in Chioggia and in Ispica, the company manages to guarantee fresh products to the consumer during the whole year.
With relevant investments in production in the last decade, Pef has managed to ensure an increasingly important link with the territory, by widening the range with new certified Globalgap products and tomatoes, courgettes, melons, onions, peppers, pumpkins, potatoes and exploiting the link by joining the well-known famers’ association of the tomato of Pachino PGI, radicchio of Chioggia PGI and new crop Ispica carrots PGI.
The mission of Pef is to obtain the complete customers satisfaction with the maximum attention to food safety, protection of the environment and safety at work. Through its own staff of technicians the company supervises the production, packaging, logistical and commercial activities, ensuring a high level of quality of product and service.
PEF srl, in the respect of the environment, has realized in the plant in Ispica a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 200kW, able to supply the 80% of the energy need and saving the release to the atmosphere of about 160 ton of CO2 a year.
